What is Digital Anthropology?
Digital anthropology is the study of human cultures and communities in the digital age.
This field uniquely blends the methods of data science and anthropology to make sense of changing cultures at a speed and scale that can respond to rapid social change. As social platforms and innovative technologies continue to change what it means to be human, digital anthropologists use a variety of methods and technologies to make sense of how different groups of people form relationships, find meaning, gain motivation and more.
Digital anthropologists are experts at understanding people and culture in our blended digital world. They can work across almost every sector of society because the most important job of every leader is to understand the needs of the people and communities they serve - better than anyone else.
